Orginally my vocals were loud enough but my homie had mixed his vocals with the beat before I recorded so we had to turn it down to sound alike, shouldve kept it loud tho..

What kind of Micro do you use?

Its just a question you know like it sound like you use some computer mic. May I suggest to get yourself some pre-amp mic, something that plug with phantom plug to get some compression directly from it then some anti-pop thing. AKG do some cheap mic who do the job correct.

I have used a variety of mics from start to now, my mp3 player with a microphone recorder, standard desktop pencil mic, and most recently and currently using a audio technica condenser with a pop screen, but its a usb mic. Maybe the next one will be a XLR connection with phantom power amp. This was either usb mic or pencil one, beleive the usb....
